Cancellation & Adjustments

With only 12 rooms, the Brentwood Hotel is a small and intimate boutique property. As such, cancellations of any kind affect us significantly. Any cancellations or changes-of-date must be made by 4pm at least 10 days prior to the date of your arrival.

If any full or partial cancellation is made within the ten day window, you will be responsible for paying the value of the first night’s stay plus tax (or the value of one night’s stay plus tax in the case of partial cancellation).

Any change of date requests (including shortening a reservation) within 10 days will be subject to a $50 fee. One date change per reservation is permitted, subject to availability and minimum stay restrictions.

At the date of arrival, a shortened stay request will be responsible for the full cost of the original reservation.

All reservations are transferable and we will gladly host a friend or family member in your place if you need to cancel for any reason.

Groups

At the Brentwood Hotel, any reservation of three rooms or more rooms is considered a group reservation, and is subject to an adjusted cancellation policy of 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival.

Formal room blocks and buyouts are handled on a case by case basis. If you are interested in setting up a block of rooms for your event, or would like to inquire about a property buyout, please contact us for more information.

Pets

The Brentwood Hotel welcomes well-behaved pets of any size for an additional fee of $40 for the first night, and $20 for each additional night. Trained service animals for physical assistance, as defined under the ADA, are not subject to the pet fee. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and are therefor subject to the regular pet fee.

It is important to us that pets have as enjoyable a stay as their owners. As such, pet-friendly stays will have a pet package in the room upon arrival (including water and food bowl, blanket, treats, doggie bags and a few other goodies). Additional supplies are available by request.

Pets must be kept on leash at all times while occupying shared areas of property (parking lot, patio, bar).

Pets are not permitted to be left unattended in guest rooms under any circumstances. If leaving your pet alone is unavoidable, please contact us for more information. Failure to comply may result in additional fees.

Check In / Check Out

Check-in time begins at 4:00pm daily. As a small property, we cannot honor all early check-in requests, but always do our best to accommodate. If you need to arrive outside of the designated check-in period, please contact us ahead of time so we can make arrangements accordingly. If you need to arrive before 12:00pm, please consider booking the previous night — contact us for details.

Check-out time is 11:00am daily. Late check-out requests are subject to availability, and can be honored for an additional fee of $25 per hour. Any check-out later than 11:00am without request or approval will automatically incur a $25 fee for each hour the room is occupied. Check-outs of 1:00pm or later will be subject to a full day charge.

The Brentwood Hotel does not have a concierge desk. Check in and check out procedures occur on the keypad of the guest room door, and are the guest's responsibility. Detailed instructions (including room assignment and unique key code) are sent at least 24 hours prior to arrival. For assistance, please contact the phone number sent with check in instructions via text message.

Smoking & Vaping

The Brentwood is a smoke-free and vape-free facility. Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited in all guest rooms and public spaces. Smoking or vaping in guest rooms will trigger the fire alarms throughout the property.

If evidence of smoking in guest rooms or designated non-smoking areas is detected, a $300 fee will be added to your bill.

Incidentals

At the time of check-in, the Brentwood will apply an authorization to the credit of your choice totaling the entirety of your stay plus a courtesy hold of an additional $100. The hold will be released at check-out once payment for all incidentals and fees have been received.

Fire Pit

We encourage our guests to make the most of their experience, and a great part of that is enjoying some relaxing time around the fire. It is the responsibility of the Brentwood Staff to light and extinguish the fire during regular bar hours (weather permitting).

Guests are not permitted to start fires without Brentwood staff supervision under any circumstances.

Guests are, however, permitted to tend and feed the fire with supplied, approved materials only. Items such as trash, sticks, leaves, or bark are strictly prohibited and cannot be collected and/or added to a fire. Fires are not permitted after 11:00pm.

Quiet Hours

We ask that you respect other guests on property and observe quiet hours of 12:00am to 6:00am. Failure to comply may result in additional fees.
